”Perdendosi”
120x100cm
Acrylic on canvas, 2024

Perdendosi, in music, means getting gradually quieter and dying away. It is a term that indicates the gradual fading away of both the sound and tempo, often creating a sense of diminishing or dissolving into silence.

The word perdendosi comes from the Italian verb perdere, meaning ”to lose,” and it literally translates to ”losing itself” or ”dying away.”
